Pinterest Scheduler Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 March 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the Flow & Nest Pinterest scheduling application and related developer services. It does not replace the main website privacy policy for flowandnest.com.
1. Who We Are
Flow & Nest is the controller of personal data processed through this Pinterest scheduling application.

Address: Unit 82A, James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds, IP28 7DE, UK
2. What This App Does
This application is used internally by Flow & Nest to connect authorised Pinterest accounts and schedule or publish content created by Flow & Nest.
This application is not offered to the public and is not used to manage third-party Pinterest accounts.
3. How We Access Pinterest Accounts
We use Pinterest OAuth authorisation. Accounts are connected through Pinterest's own authorisation flow.
We do not ask for, collect, or store Pinterest passwords.
We receive and use access tokens provided by Pinterest to carry out authorised actions.
4. Categories of Data We May Receive
Depending on the permissions granted, we may receive limited Pinterest account and content data such as:
- Pinterest account identifier
- Username or profile name
- Board names and board identifiers
- Pin metadata needed for scheduling or publishing
- Basic analytics data where Pinterest makes this available through the API
5. How We Use Pinterest Data
We use Pinterest data only to provide scheduling and publishing functionality, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and operate the application.
We do not sell, rent, or use Pinterest data for profiling or advertising purposes outside the Pinterest platform.
We do not use Pinterest data for resale, data aggregation, or cross-platform tracking.
6. What We Store
We aim to minimise stored Pinterest data.
We do not store Pinterest passwords.
We do not retain Pinterest account data longer than necessary to complete authorised actions or maintain essential operational logs.
Where temporary storage is required, it is limited to what is necessary for the requested action.
7. Token Handling
Access tokens are stored only as needed to maintain the authorised connection and deliver the internal publishing workflow.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect tokens and related account data.
8. Legal Basis for Processing
We process data where necessary to provide the requested service and, where applicable, on the basis of consent given through the Pinterest authorisation flow.
9. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data.
We may share limited data with service providers that help operate the application, where necessary.
Pinterest remains responsible for data it processes through its platform and API.
10. International Transfers
Some service providers may process data outside the UK. Where this occurs, appropriate safeguards will be used where required.
11. Retention
OAuth tokens are retained only while the connection remains active or until access is revoked or expires.
Operational logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for security and troubleshooting.
12. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and withdrawal of consent where applicable.
You may also revoke the app's access through your Pinterest account settings.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
13. Pinterest API Compliance
We aim to use Pinterest data only in accordance with Pinterest's developer requirements and only for authorised functionality.
If Pinterest changes its API requirements, permissions, or data handling rules, we may update this Privacy Policy to reflect those changes.
